Crypto Clarity: YouHodler’s North America Launch Campaign

Spring 2025 Intern Project at The Pollack Group

As part of my internship at The Pollack Group, I developed a comprehensive PR and event strategy to support YouHodler’s first major North American campaign. Titled Crypto Clarity, this one-day summit aimed to educate crypto-curious audiences, build media/influencer trust, and drive app signups through a mix of expert-led panels, interactive booths, and targeted media outreach.

Target Audience

  1. Crypto-Curious Millennials (25–35): cautious, value education and transparency

  2. Seasoned Investors (35–45): care about credibility, long-term value

  3. Fintech Enthusiasts (18–30): active on social media, innovation-driven

Objectives & KPIs

  1. Expand YouHodler’s brand visibility in North America

  2. Build trust through expert and influencer engagement

  3. Drive app engagement and long-term user conversion

  4. Target: 200K+ impressions, 3+ media placements, 5+ influencer posts

Media Toolkit & Press Strategy

I created a full media toolkit that included press bios, schedule, FAQs, pitches to press and influencers, and RSVP forms. I also developed targeted pitch angles for crypto, fintech, and general business journalists and helped compile a shortlist of high-impact influencer partners.

After the event, I proposed a multi-channel follow-up strategy, including a blog post recap, influencer reels, a highlight video, and a campaign performance report to evaluate against KPIs like app signups, media impressions, and booth engagement.

This project gave me hands-on experience in strategic PR planning for a global fintech brand. I honed my skills in audience research, media pitching, influencer marketing, and campaign storytelling, while learning how to align messaging with compliance and market-entry needs.
